The Curious case of the woman kidnapped by the Gojek driver

As with all social media post, we should always take it with a pinch of salt. Recently I have been more aware of what I share on social media. This is a case where the the female passenger wanted the driver to avoid ERP charges on her way from Bishan to Coleman Road without incurring charges. (Which I don’t think was possible in the morning rush hour) She later went batshit crazy and accused the driver of locking her in the car and kidnapping her.

I have decided not to share this post as it is public shaming of a person probably with a troubled mind. No normal person would have reacted the way she did. Nothing good comes out of shaming someone on social media like that. I was really tempted to share though as I too feel injustice for the Gojek driver. But imagine if the woman in the story could not take the shaming and killed herself, you have just played a part in someone’s death. 请三思而后行。
